To no one’s surprise, the Special Meeting* of the Deep South Philosophy & Neuroscience Workgroup (held in conjunction with the Mid-South Philosophy Conference, Rhodes College, Memphis, March 24-25) was a great success.
This work group meeting will explore neuroscientific and philosophical work on gender identity and its relation to constructs like ‘neural sex differences’ and ‘sexual orientation’. It aims to familiarize neuroscientists and philosophers with work on these topics in their respective fields and to promote interdisciplinary collaboration in their study.
Regulars of the Deep South Philosophy and Neuroscience Workgroup met up at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, for the recent Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology annual meeting, March 9-11, 2023.
For the first time, the Deep South Philosophy & Neuroscience Workgroup will have a Spring Meeting.
