The Embedded Philosophy of Science of MultiDisciplinary Science Projects session at the DSPNW affiliate meeting at the Pacific APA (March 22, 2024) was a hit! Look how happy everyone is to see a fellow Deep Souther.

We will focus on the interaction of experiment-making and theory-making. In multi-disciplinary projects, the ontological, epistemological and metaphysical commitments of the interacting disciplines have to be reconciled…

This work group meeting will explore neuroscientific and philosophical work on gender identity and its relation to constructs like ‘neural sex differences’ and ‘sexual orientation’. It aims to familiarize neuroscientists and philosophers with work on these topics in their respective fields and to promote interdisciplinary collaboration in their study.
